Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Andover, MA to support on-site operations and resident satisfaction. The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety systems, and completing service requests with quality, safety, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for estimating and totals.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving responsibilities as needed.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems and perform turn-key repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident requests and coordinate with residents to resolve issues.
• Complete assigned service requests in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready.
• Operate general maintenance tools and equipment as required.
• May supervise other associates or contractors as needed.
• Promote safe work practices and comply with company policies and safety standards.
