Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance across our properties. You will help maintain safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction, with on-call responsibilities and a focus on quality workmanship.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in property management or related field, plus general carpentry skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Perform carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, window/door repair, tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standard and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and amenities to identify maintenance or safety issues.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance as needed.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues at the property.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by keeping property clean and presentable.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
