Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal. The role involves responding to work orders and supporting residents and property managers on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least one year in property management or related maintenance, along with general maintenance and carpentry skills. Valid driver's license is preferred, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of property management or related maintenance experience.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, window and door repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinklers, elevators, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies and on-call after-hours maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and risk management requirements.
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents and teams.
