Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across building systems both inside and outside. The role involves coordinating with the Chief Engineer and Property Manager, scheduling vendors for repairs, and maintaining service records.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies within 30 minutes, performing minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely while keeping common

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Ability to react and address emergency situations within 30 minutes, including after hours.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule vendors and contractors for repairs and emergencies beyond routine maintenance.
• Maintain a maintenance schedule and upcoming service due dates.
• Operate safely and ensure the safety of others in the building.
• Maintain an by-page environment for resident services and adhere to preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and related tasks.
