Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance at a residential community. Under limited supervision, you will service building interior and exterior, manage repairs, and coordinate vendors.

This role requires at least two years in building trades, ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes, and solid communication skills. You will report to the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor and work a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires at least two years of general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Ability to address emergency situations promptly (within 30 minutes).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors/contractors for repairs beyond routine maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance logs and service due dates.
• Inspect mechanical systems and controls to ensure proper operation.
• Respond to emergencies and afterhours calls as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company and safety standards.
• Complete work orders using the KWPMC system.
• Assist with minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and flooring tasks.
