Job summary

KW Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems at a community property.

Under limited supervision, you will coordinate with vendors, document work orders, ensure safety, and respond to emergencies as needed. This is an hourly, on-site role requiring physical ability and basic carpentry/electrical/plumbing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to react to emergencies within 30 minutes; after-hours may be required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors/contractors for repairs beyond routine maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance schedule and service due dates.
• Operate safely and ensure building safety for occupants.
• Complete forms and work orders using KWPMC system.
• Inspect mechanical systems/equipment and monitor building controls.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Maintain clean, aesthetically appealing common areas.
