Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems under supervision of Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include scheduling vendors, keeping maintenance logs, ensuring safety, and responding to emergencies at a resident property.

The role requires at least two years in building trades, HVAC certification preferred, strong communication, and ability to work indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Other trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Coordinate vendors and emergency repairs outside routine scope.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and service due dates.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of building systems.
• Complete work orders using the property’s system.
• Inspect mechanical systems and monitor building controls.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Assist in maintaining records of scheduled procedures.
