Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks. You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds, while delivering excellent resident service and maintaining curb appeal.

A valid driver's license is required; you will join a team focused on safety, preventive maintenance, and swift response to emergencies. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed by supervisor.
• Perform wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, tile repair.
• Carry out preventive maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and elevators.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness and address issues.
• Assist with property emergencies (weather, fires, floods) and communicate issues to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per regulations and company policy.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance with response targets.
• Maintain courteous, professional interactions with residents and colleagues to enhance satisfaction.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, other properties, and agencies.
