Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of apartment and property maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction. You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds work under supervision, maintain work orders, and respond to emergencies.

A high school diploma and at least one year in property maintenance are required; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed.
• Perform preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, and safety checks.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to satisfaction of residents.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety, cleanliness, and needed repairs.
• Assist with property emergencies and after-hours maintenance when required.
