Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle apartment and property maintenance duties under supervision. The role focuses on safety, curb appeal, and high-quality customer service for residents and clients.

Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, with preventative tasks and on-call support. A valid driver’s license and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Address maintenance duties for apartment and property as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds as needed.
• Perform carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish work, door/lock repair.
• Prospectively perform preventative maintenance on siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, etc.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
