Job summary

Avenue5 Residential, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties and uphold top customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property in Round Rock, TX. You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and general upkeep, while maintaining safety standards and timely work orders.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year in property maintenance, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of property maintenance experience.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Conduct general carpentry such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry and door/lock repair.
• Perform proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pool and elevator maintenance.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance, repair or replacement.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and after-hours on-call assignments.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues; promote safety and risk management.
• Foster positive relationship with residents and other properties; maintain professional demeanor and appearance.
• Adhere to all components of the company risk management program.
