Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in the maintenance of the property, including corrective, preventative, and cosmetic tasks under supervision. You will perform make-ready work, respond to resident requests, and help with turnover events across common areas and units.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills for on-site software, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements; regular on-site attendance and safety compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes of the property including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Make-ready tasks in line with property objectives under supervision of Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner for common areas, buildings, and units.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain the exterior of the community including grounds and common areas; perform pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds/buildings and other features daily to identify hazards and address them promptly.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend property life and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
