Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to perform repairs and maintenance on a fleet of diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will work under supervision to service chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, suspension, and steering, with on‑road support as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from an automotive college or tech school, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3–5 years of experience or recent graduation in automotive tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks.
• Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, suspension, drive train, steering.
• Provide road service and identify malfunctions using electronic tools.
