Job summary

Republic Services Maintenance Department is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician B to service a single fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and execute repairs on chassis, refuse bodies, electrical and hydraulic systems, and HVAC components.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or graduated from automotive college/technical school soon.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and systems for preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on-road.
• Repairs chassis components, refuse bodies, brake systems, suspension, steering, HVAC, and drive train.
• Performs line welding and fabrication as needed and provides safe road service when required.
