Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, control systems, hydraulic and air-brake systems, engines, HVAC, and drive trains. The role involves on-site and on-road work with a focus on safe, efficient operation and customer service.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of technician experience or be graduating from an accredited automotive program, with ASE/T1-T8 certification helpful and a CDL as a plus.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and apply technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from an accredited automotive program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on heavy/light trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools and perform line welding/fabrication as needed.
• Provide road service to return equipment to operation safely and efficiently.
