Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline equipment and refuse bodies. You will work under supervision to service chassis, hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, and drive trains on a fleet of advanced vehicles.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and routine road service to keep equipment on the road safely and efficiently. A CDL and ASE credentials are beneficial, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a technician position with gasoline and diesel-powered equipment experience.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose multi-system issues and perform preventive maintenance on Class 1-8 vehicles.
• Repair chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC.
• Perform welding/fabrication and road service as needed.
