Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Service Technician for the Durham, NC property. You will perform maintenance across the building interiors and exteriors, handle work orders, and support make-ready processes to ensure units meet Greystar standards.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a rotating on-call schedule. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, repairing systems, documenting work orders, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications must be current.
• Driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing to policy and code.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking and reporting.
• Assist in grounds and common areas upkeep and support cost-saving measures by using parts efficiently.
