Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Matthews, NC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance tasks across the property, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards. You will handle work orders, make-ready repairs, manage supplies, and assist in grounds upkeep while following safety policies.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and local certifications as required for the role.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance per safety standards and codes.
• Finish make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track supplies, return unused items, and notify supervisor for reorders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Assist cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
