Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield's distribution client in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 3rd shift to perform advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on automated conveyor and sortation systems and related equipment.

You will drive equipment reliability by executing preventive tasks, addressing failures promptly, and mentoring junior technicians while upholding a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years with a CMMS.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians; vendor management a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems; install and troubleshoot relay logic and control components.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment, and parts data.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive relationships across Operations facility.
