Columbia Sportswear Company in Portland Distribution Center is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to maintain and repair equipment with a focus on conveyors and sorters, ensuring motors, lighting, and plumbing are in top condition.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, 5–7 years of warehouse equipment experience, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a dynamic distribution environment.

Competenze

• 5-7 years of experience maintaining warehouse equipment.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols including hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and emergency procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the facility.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on warehouse and office equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, racking, lighting, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager in a safe and timely manner.
• Occasionally perform light janitorial duties and other facility-related tasks.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Foster open, positive communication across departments to support smooth operations.
