AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Bee Cave, TX to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and to keep apartment homes in top condition.

This full-time role requires 2–3 years maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and on-call rotation. You’ll complete service requests promptly and help keep residents happy.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Ability to communicate with residents and associates to provide customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Completes assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains a safe work culture and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering and welding within company standards.
