Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Ability to read policies, procedures and SDS documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances and related systems.
• Complete service requests promptly and according to standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Conduct apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assist in interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintain safety culture by following AvalonBay policies; perform hot works per standards.
