Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of the community and deliver world-class service to our valued residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4-6 years of maintenance experience, and strong customer service skills, with advanced knowledge in at least one of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry. A 24/7 on-call schedule and coordination with outside contractors are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems.
• Directs mechanics, technicians, and contractors on assigned projects.
• Control inventory of parts and equipment; perform repairs.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed, and maintain resident satisfaction.
