Job summary

DASMEN Residential in North Augusta, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and perform hands-on maintenance of the community, including inspection, repair, and overall upkeep of market-ready apartments and common areas.

You will supervise maintenance staff, ensure safe work practices, respond to resident requests, and coordinate preventive maintenance while meeting expectations for quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift and work heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record with auto insurance.
• Must be EPA or CFC certified.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing all market-ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping).
• Performs preventive maintenance and records findings in the maintenance log.
• Completes regular community inspections.
• Responds to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Works with maintenance staff to keep grounds and communal areas clean.
• Monitors and maintains mechanical equipment (e.g., water heaters, HVAC).
