Job summary

DASMEN Residential seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate on-site maintenance of our community’s buildings and grounds. The role involves hands-on repairs, inspections, and supervising the maintenance team to ensure market-ready apartments and common areas meet standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in maintenance, strong communication skills, and HVAC/CAMT/EPA certifications. Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling, safety compliance, and emergency on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of three years hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc. is necessary.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift and work heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record along with auto insurance required;
• Must be EPA or CFC certified.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Hands-on maintenance of market-ready apartments and common areas.
• Leads and trains maintenance staff; participates in hiring and evaluations.
• Repairs electrical systems and components for machinery and equipment.
• Responds to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Provides on-call emergency maintenance as required.
• Maintains maintenance logs and inspects community facilities.
• Monitors and maintains mechanical equipment including water heaters and HVAC.
