Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at the community, including service requests, preventative maintenance, and staff supervision. You will ensure safety standards and customer service, coordinating with the Community Manager on vendors and make-ready tasks.

The role requires daily on-site presence, proficiency with on-site software, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC knowledge desired.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance management and supervision of staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance required.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements for common areas and units are completed.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Manage and order maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program to extend asset life.
• Maintain a properly stocked maintenance shop and ensure safety standards.
• Promote safe work practices and participate in on-call emergencies.
• Plan and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
• Provide direction to and monitor maintenance, construction, and rehab activities for quality and expediency.
