Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property upkeep, supervise move-ins, and manage maintenance tasks in line with budget. The role requires hands-on maintenance knowledge and leadership to support a fast-growing property management team.

The position involves scheduling, safety oversight, coordinating with staff, and responding to service requests within 24 hours. Benefits include PTO, holidays, health plans, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience on apartment properties.
• Leadership skills and ability to work with customers/residents.
• HVAC knowledge with CFC certification target within 90 days.
• Experience: 1 year as Maintenance Supervisor or 3 years as Maintenance Tech.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with hiring, staffing, and promotions.
• Teach skills to staff.
• Schedule work.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure common areas are safe, repaired, and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking, exteriors.
• Make capital improvement recommendations.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Visit competing properties to inspect quality.
• Order parts to repair the community.
• Educate staff on safety and OSHA guidelines.
