Job summary

Peak Living, a fast-growing property management company with communities across the United States, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to keep apartment homes in top condition and supervise maintenance staff.

You will schedule work, ensure safety, respond to service requests within 24 hours, and collaborate with the Community Manager to meet budget goals while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
• Leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with customers/residents.
• Basic HVAC knowledge and achieving CFC certification within 90 days.
• One year as a Maintenance Supervisor or three years as a Maintenance Technician.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with staffing decisions and performance.
• Teach skills to staff members.
• Schedule work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Keep common areas safe, repaired, and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, exteriors, etc.
• Recommend capital improvements when appropriate.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Visit competing properties to inspect quality of maintenance.
• Order parts and supplies for community repairs.
• Educate staff on safety and stay informed on safety bulletins.
