Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for indoor and outdoor community spaces, respond to work orders, and oversee make‑ready tasks for vacant homes. You’ll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and ability to use them safely.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues from resident work orders per safety and code requirements.
• Oversee make‑ready process for vacant homes, schedule contractors, and inspect work.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by others and contractors to ensure quality.
• Assist with budget planning and inventory of maintenance supplies.
