Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Livano Cary in Cary, NC. This role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinate vendors, and contribute to preventive maintenance while supporting budget goals and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communication for documentation and interaction.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Maintains inventory and assists in budgeting for regular repairs and capital projects.
• Ensures safety compliance and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
