Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service the Tradition at Stonewater in Cary, NC. The role performs technical and mechanical work ensuring building and grounds meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks for new leases, inventory control, and routine safety compliance as part of a collaborative property team in a garden-style community with 351 units.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units and prepare for leasing.
• Track materials, supplies and inventory; notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests clearly for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
