Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on keeping building systems, grounds, and amenities in prime condition to meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and function.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call requirement in a stabilized, mid‑rise property setting. Responsibilities include completing resident work orders, making-ready tasks for new move-ins, inventory tracking, and documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing to policy and safety standards.
• Executes make-ready process to prepare vacants for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and materials.
• Tracks inventory, sources materials, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
