Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor in Cary, NC to lead and execute maintenance operations across a residential community. You will supervise technicians, coordinate resident service requests, and uphold safety and quality standards to deliver a superior living experience.

The role emphasizes making-ready vacant units, inspecting work, managing vendors, controlling costs, and maintaining grounds and common areas to Greystar's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Oversees and completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling.
• Develops cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspects work by other service team members and develops corrective action plans.
• Inspects work by contractors and vendors to ensure materials and services meet quality standards.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and works with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures per Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
• Conducts safety meetings and keeps MSDS up to date, staying compliant with OSHA and safety laws.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing residents' questions and urgency of maintenance requests.
