Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance supervisor to oversee the inside and exterior of our community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will manage work orders, oversee make-ready processes, and uphold Greystar standards across grounds, exteriors, and common areas.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance supervision, EPA/CPO certifications preferred, and experience with GE/Whirlpool appliances and plumbing in mid-rise buildings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (GED acceptable)
• 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience required.
• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications preferred.
• Appliance experience with GE & Whirlpool and plumbing for mid-rise buildings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and perform routine maintenance tasks while following safety standards and policies.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by service staff to assess compliance and effectiveness, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Inspect work by contractors/vendors to verify quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies within budget.
