Job summary

Corvias is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead residential maintenance operations at our Fort Meade, MD assets. You will supervise technicians, plan work orders, and ensure timely, high-quality service to residents.

You’ll manage safety guidelines, inventory, and preventive maintenance while coordinating with vendors and management to meet budget goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in multi-family housing maintenance or similar industry with 1 year supervisory or coordination experience.
• Certification or comparable experience in four or more trades including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, HVAC and building construction; Demonstrable expert level knowledge and use of tools and equipment for specific trades.
• EPA Type I and II certification and basic training for LBP and mold; Demonstrable knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to organize individual and team activities to ensure operations are highly productive and meet or exceed business goals.
• Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and database applications; familiarity with Entrata or Yardi property management software a plus.
• Required to provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service to residents by responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Plan, organize and direct maintenance personnel, assigning work orders and make-ready activities including move-in/move-out inspections; manage 24/7 emergency maintenance schedule.
• Train and support maintenance technicians and assist in all maintenance projects and community activities.
• Process all maintenance orders and maintain inventory control within budgeted guidelines; forecast expenses.
• Assist in creating and implementing an effective preventative maintenance plan; perform regular property inspections.
• Monitor compliance with SOPs and regulations; ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Solicit and evaluate maintenance contract proposals.
• Other duties as assigned.
