Job summary

Panasonic Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary maintenance team in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate schedules, develop work assignments, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, managing overtime, and leading lean manufacturing initiatives to improve FTQ, cost, and delivery. Strong communication and CAD/blueprint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/operations with direct people management experience.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and reading blueprints.
• Experience with CAD and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong safety and continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and direct maintenance team to ensure targets are met.
• Hire, train and develop team; drive continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure production staff are trained and certified for tasks.
• Conduct annual reviews, pay adjustments, and development plans.
• Manage overtime schedules and reductions.
• Oversee safety compliance, 6S/Visual Management and manufacturing standards.
• Lead projects driving FTQ and lean improvements; collaborate with shifts.
• Communicate manufacturing issues to management and support functions.
