Job summary

Panasonic Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-discipline maintenance team within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will coordinate shifts, drive safety, and align workforce to quality, schedule, and cost goals, while advancing continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

You will develop team members, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with Lean Six Sigma and 6S practices, fostering a safe and efficient work environment at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience and direct people management experience.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Experience with CAD.
• Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong safety and continuous improvement mindset.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• English proficiency (reading/writing/speaking).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team across shifts and areas.
• Plan schedules and workflow to meet program initiatives (Quality, Schedule, Cost).
• Drive continuous improvement and development of technical competencies.
• Maintain a safe work environment and correct unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate training and certify production staff for assigned tasks.
• Monitor safety rules and 6S/Visual Management compliance.
• Communicate manufacturing issues clearly to management.
