Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage a diverse maintenance team. The role centers on coordinating schedules, supervising day-to-day work, and driving safe, reliable preventative maintenance across the facility.

You will develop work assignments, monitor performance toward quality, cost and delivery goals, and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean methods and 6S, while fostering a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience with direct people management in a high pace/high volume environment.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Experience with CAD.
  • Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and direct maintenance members to ensure starts and transfers are consistently achieved.
  • Hire, train, develop, engage and motivate team members while driving continuous improvement (lean, FTQ).
  • Ensure production employees are adequately trained and certified to perform tasks.
  • Maintain manufacturing floor presence and address bottlenecks.
  • Supervise multiple shifts and promote teamwork and accountability.
  • Perform annual performance reviews and career development plans.
  • Coordinate and manage material flow and maintenance support requirements.
  • Lead projects that drive FTQ and operational excellence.
