Related Affordable seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of our community, ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will oversee technical work, manage make-ready tasks for vacant units, and represent the company with integrity and professional accountability, driving core values and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• Schedule flexibility, including weekends when necessary to meet property maintenance demands.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software preferred.
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs.
• Oversee the 'make-ready' process for vacant apartments, including inspections, task lists, scheduling contractors, and supplies.
• Develop and maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the community.
• Inspect the building and property daily, addressing safety issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to emergency repairs after hours.
• Make budget recommendations for maintenance line items to the Community Manager.
• Order and maintain inventory of building materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain bids for repairs and replacements.
• Ensure the general upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
