Job summary

Related Affordable Housing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead building upkeep, grounds, and common spaces while directing routine and emergency maintenance. Oversee make-ready tasks for vacant units, schedule contractors, and ensure safety and quality standards across the community.

You will apply HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical skills, manage supplies, and uphold company values in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends; on-call as needed.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software.
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred.
• Commitment to teamwork, accountability and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders by diagnosing issues and making repairs.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common spaces.
• Inspect building daily and address safety issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to after-hours repairs.
• Order and manage supplies; coordinate bids with contractors.
