Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site team in delivering clean, safe, and well-maintained buildings, grounds and amenities for residents. You will supervise technician work, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure priority work orders are completed to the highest standards.

This role requires 3+ years in maintenance with 2+ years in supervision, experience with property management software, and strong HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software.
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to be on-call and flexible with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across the community, including grounds and common spaces.
• Inspect the building daily and address safety issues promptly.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to after-hours repairs.
• Provide budget recommendations to the Community Manager.
• Order and maintain inventory of building materials.
• Coordinate with contractors to obtain bids for repairs and replacements.
• Ensure upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
