Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our property teams in delivering clean, safe, and well-maintained buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will oversee and perform technical work, manage make-ready for vacant apartments, and ensure tasks meet our high standards while representing the company in a professional, resident-centered manner.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software preferred.
Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Affordable housing experience preferred.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Schedule flexibility including weekends and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs in accordance with established policies and safety standards.
Oversee the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, task lists, scheduling contractors, obtaining supplies, and ensuring tasks meet high standards.
Develop and maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the community, including grounds and common spaces.
Inspect the building and property daily, addressing safety issues promptly.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to emergency repairs after hours.
Make budget recommendations for maintenance line items to the Community Manager.
Order and maintain inventory of building materials and supplies.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain bids for repairs and replacements.
Ensure the general upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
Perform other duties as assigned.
