Job summary

Indigo Real Estate seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate all on-site maintenance activities. The role focuses on keeping properties in top condition, managing turn-over, and handling urgent after-hours repairs with strong customer service and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in property maintenance, a high school diploma (BA preferred), and solid communication skills. Experience with Yardi or similar software is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of property maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; BA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong customer service orientation and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage urgency.
• Knowledge of property management software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all maintenance of property interiors and exteriors.
• Coordinate maintenance operations, curb appeal, and turnover schedules.
• Ensure service requests are completed daily.
• Manage on-call emergency maintenance and after-hours responses.
• Lead punch list work for vacated units and ensure move-in readiness.
• Obtain bids and negotiate with vendors/contractors.
• Maintain contracts and warranties; perform routine maintenance.
• Provide ongoing training to maintenance staff.
• Experience in high-rise or mid-rise buildings is preferred.
