Job summary

Indigo Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who is enthusiastic about customer service and driven to succeed. The role emphasizes organizing, coordinating, and leading the maintenance of the property, ensuring curb appeal, timely work requests, and cost-efficient inventory control.

You will supervise the maintenance staff, handle vendor bids, and oversee make-ready processes for vacated units, with after-hours on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills.
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task with strong diligence.
• Working knowledge of Yardi or other property management software preferred.
• Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of the property's condition and appearance.
• Organize, coordinate, and manage maintenance operations and inventory.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily.
• Generate and manage an on-call schedule for emergencies.
• Lead Punch List for vacated units and ensure move-in readiness.
• Obtain bids and negotiate prices with vendors and contractors.
• Manage contracts and warranties; diagnose and perform routine repairs.
• Provide ongoing training and leadership to maintenance staff.
