Job summary

Brookdale Midland Assisted Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee building operations, repairs, and safety compliance. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage HVAC and electrical systems, and ensure resident comfort and safety across the community.

You will coordinate with inspectors, train staff, and handle repairs in accordance with company policies. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience.
• Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to meet standards and policies.
• Oversees HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Responds to resident repair requests, including plumbing, electrical, and lighting issues.
• Repairs and maintains vacated rooms; inspects work for conformance to standards.
• Maintains common areas and coordinates with fire and building inspectors.
• Trains maintenance staff and communicates with authorities; conducts fire safety training.
