Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for keeping interiors, exteriors, grounds, and common areas in top condition. You will respond to work orders, perform repairs, and help with make-readies for leasing and move-ins.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent management.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; PM system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills to handle financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders from residents; diagnose and repair defects.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units; schedule vendors and complete tasks.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts; assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Assist safety programs; ensure MSDS and OSHA compliance; conduct safety meetings.
• Communicate with residents and staff; address maintenance-related questions and complaints.
