Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee technical and mechanical work across a garden community. You will handle resident service requests, perform repairs, and support make-ready tasks for new move-ins, all while maintaining the property's safety and appearance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or related experience and training.
Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
Must provide own hand tools and be skilled with hand and power tools.
Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety standards.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team.
Proficiency with basic computer tasks for maintenance records.

Responsibilities

Respond to service requests from residents; diagnose issues and perform repairs.
Complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and common areas.
Inspect work by contractors and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
Assist Community Manager with budgeting for regular repair and maintenance.
Participate in safety meetings; ensure OSHA and safety compliance.
