Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and execute the technical, mechanical, and maintenance operations of the community. This role ensures interior and exterior areas are maintained to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and appearance while coordinating service requests and supervising maintenance staff.

The position includes overseeing make-ready work, vendor coordination, inventory management, and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversees make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; coordinates with Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Conducts safety meetings, ensures MSDS are current, and complies with OSHA and related laws.
• Interacts with residents to address maintenance concerns, prioritizes work orders, and assigns tasks efficiently.
