Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage technical and mechanical work across the community’s buildings and amenities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality aligned with company standards.

The role involves diagnosing defects, managing the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating with contractors, and contributing to preventative maintenance while supporting budget goals.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and be skilled in the safe use of hand/power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and fix problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; represent management and assist residents and team members.
• Proficient with internet, word processing, spreadsheets; property management system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills for financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing the defect or problem and making repairs.
• Oversee make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing; schedule vendors and inspect work.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by other team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies within budget.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance as per Manual.
• Assist Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure MSDS and OSHA compliance.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and teammates.

Conocimientos
