Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure indoor/outdoor community areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, perform repairs, and support make-ready tasks for vacant units while adhering to policies.

Responsibilities include inspecting work, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining supplies within budget guidelines. This role requires practical maintenance experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in basic math for financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Oversees the make-ready process for vacant units, pre-move-out inspections, and scheduling contractors.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and buildings to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work performed by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with policies.
